Facebook has launched Short Form Video App called 'Lasso' for Android and iOS 

Facebook has start a video application considered 'Lasso' that empowers users to make and share short-clip videos with amazing filter and special effects. The application can be viewed as a Facebook form of the TikTok application that has turned out to be very prominent in the previous year. 

Bowen Pan, an product manager at Facebook, tweeted the launch on Saturday, and included it was accessible just in the US for the present. 

Furnished with video-editing tool, the application enables user to include message, text and music to their short videos. It is accessible for both Android and iOS. 

"Lasso is an independent application for short-form, entertenment videos. We're amped up for the potential here, and we'll be gathering comments from users and creates," CNET cited a Facebook representative as saying in an email on Friday 

All profiles and videos on the application would be open. 

Lasso has been made accessible to US users first as Facebook attempts to contend with the like of other same platform like Snapchat and YouTube. 

By correlation, almost 69 percent US youngsters use Snapchat, 72 percent say they use Instagram and 85 percent say they use YouTube, the report included. 

The application require users to sign in using their Facebook or Instagram ID and share their short videos from Lasso to their Facebook Stories. 

The contents sharing combination of Lasso to Instagram Stories is likewise anticipated that would come soon. 

There has been no word about the worldwide arrival of the application from Facebook so far.
